In the movie 48 hours with Eddie Murphy they sing a song in the bar while Eddie is trying to pick up a lady ..the only words in the song i can remember is "going downtown " Anyone remember what th name of that song is or who sings it...

Was this a song sung by The Bus Boys? That was the group that was playing in the bar everytime they went. The big song was called 'The Boys Are Back In Town"

no i finally found it though it was "new shoes" by the bus boys ...they only sang a short part of it ..but i did get it downloaded ..thanks so much for helping me....MM

Well they are singing it when Eddie is at the bar trying to pick up a lady ... so i am not sure about on the sound track or album. If you get a chance to see the movie it is the first scene at the bar they are singing it .I don't understand why it is not more popular because it is a good song ...Melvin
